Fiber / Fibre Channel Hard Drives 3.5" LFF

3.5" Fiber / Fibre Channel hard drives are almost exclusively for usage in servers that use hot swappable (hot-swap) drives with a Fiber Channel 40-pin "SCA-2" hot pluggable backplane. You use a hard drive tray or caddy or sled, and simply slide and clip the drive into the front of your server.

Fiber Channel hard drives are commonly used in NetApp FAS2020 FAS2040 FAS2050 DS14 MK2, EMC Clarriion CX Series, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Virtual Array 3000 5000, Xyratex RS-1600-FC storage arrays and servers.
