The Dell® PowerEdge® Expandable RAID Controller (PERC) is
a high performance intelligent PCI-to-SCSI host adapters with
RAID control capabilities. PERC provides reliability, high
performance, and fault-tolerant disk subsystem management.
PERC has two Ultra Wide SCSI channels, supporting data
transfer rates up to 40 Megabytes per second (MBs) per channel.
Each SCSI channel supports up to fifteen SCSI devices.
